There cannot be growth without when there is no growth within.
It is possible to have a house, a car and money and still not be content because you understand that there is still room for you to occupy, there are still territories to take. It must be natural for every living thing to grow. In plants we call it stunted growth when a plant does not grow as expected. In people it is called subnormal growth when a child is not growing at an expected rate according to time. Every living thing has something inside it that propels it to grow. Growth is supposed to be natural for everything that is alive. If it doesn’t happen then there is a problem.
As a believer you are supposed to grow, if you are not developing there must be a problem. The question of growth keeps coming back to how one can grow and be more effective in their ministry. If you are not bothered by growth, you are to be investigated, a person must be troubled when there is no growth. Growth has to take place inside before it takes place outside. A number of us drive growth from the outside when there is nothing happening on the inside. You are stretching yourself beyond what your spirit can handle, we are then frustrated because we are pushing development from the outside. Our growth is driven from outside when it is supposed to be driven from inside. A person increases hours of work and intensifies their workload so that they get more money. I can predict that this kind of pressure will soon give you hypertension because you are increasing the load on the truck but the engine is still the same. Remember a human is a tripartite being.
The spirit helps you relate with the spiritual.
The body helps you to relate with the physical.
The soul carries the mind, the will and the emotions. What have you done to make yourself your soul better? The development comes from the developing your spirit then developing your soul. What have you done to develop your soul?
You must be intelligent emotionally as a business person to be able to handle employees and to fire them if you see fit. You must be emotionally strong not to employ relatives. As a professional when people want to use your services for free, you have to be emotionally intelligence to be able to set boundaries. If you are not strong emotionally you are easily manipulated, you have to be intelligent enough not to be emotionally manipulated. The world is ruthless; you have to develop on the inside, develop your emotions! Forgiveness must not mean reconciliation, be intelligent enough to know which person is meant for your destruction and which for your good. People rarely change so forgiving a person does not mean bringing them back in your inner circle. There people whose mind is underdeveloped and their will power is weak. What changes one’s dimension of wealth is determined by who they now know or what they now know. We are where we are because of relationships.
